Information we collect

How we use it

We use this information to answer and route calls, take messages, show a business its own portal, send the notifications that business asked for, respond to support requests, and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal information.

Text messaging

If you check the SMS consent box on our demo form, or a business checks it for a staff mobile number, we may text that number about the request or about caller messages and on-call handoffs.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties, except with vendors who transmit the messages or host the service on our behalf.

Who we share it with

We share information with service providers that place and carry phone calls, deliver text messages, host this website, and store account data. They may use it only to perform those services. We may also share information if the law requires it, or with the business whose line the call was for, because that business is the one the caller contacted.

A business using JIC Agents is responsible for the caller information it asks us to collect and for how its own staff use the portal.

How long we keep it

We keep account and message records for as long as the business has an account, and then for a limited period needed for support, billing disputes, and legal obligations. A business can ask us to delete a message or a staff number. Opting out of texts does not by itself delete a call record the business is keeping.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including sign-in for the client portal. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.

Your choices

Children

This service is for businesses. We do not knowingly market to children or build profiles of children. A medical or family business may store a message a parent or guardian left about a child. That record belongs to the business’s account.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and change the date above. The page is public. No account is required to read it.
